Formula
The molar ratio between substance A and substance B is calculated as:
Molar Ratio (A:B) = Coefficient of A / Coefficient of B

Example Calculation

To find molar ratio between H₂ and O₂:
Number of reactants: 2 (H₂ and O₂)
Number of products: 1 (H₂O)
Coefficients: H₂ = 2, O₂ = 1, H₂O = 2
Molar ratio H₂:O₂ = 2:1
If you have 4 moles of H₂, the calculator would show you need 2 moles of O₂ for complete reaction.
