STP Calculator
How to Use This Calculator
Enter either the volume of gas at STP or the number of moles in the input fields. The calculator will automatically compute the other value based on the STP conditions.
What This Calculator Is For
This calculator helps you convert between the number of moles and volume of an ideal gas at standard temperature and pressure (STP: 0°C or 273.15K and 1 atm).
Formula
At STP, 1 mole of an ideal gas occupies 22.414 liters. The relationship is:
Volume (L) = Moles × 22.414 Moles = Volume / 22.414
Example
Input: 2 moles
Calculation: Volume = 2 × 22.414 = 44.828 L
Result: 44.828 L
